Using data
The following sections will help you finding software and hardware resources as well as tutorials and other learning materials on how to use, manipulate and analyse data:
Software 
SoftwareThe following software tools for data manipulation, analysis and visualization are installed on the Library computers:
- SPSS (the new version known as PASW Statistics) - Statistical package [more information from external website].
- STATA - Statistical package [ more information from external website].
- R package - [ more informationfrom external website].
- STAT-TRANSFER - Data transfer tool between formats such as SPSS, STATA, Excel or Access.
- ARC-GIS - Suite of software tools to create and manage spatial data making possible to visualize geo-referenced data. Please note that ARC-GIS is only installed in one computer in the Library.
- Atlas.ti - Qualitative data management tool.
Secure storage space is provided through the U: drive. This network drive is backed-up regularly and it is highly recommended that you store all your important data here. You can find it by looking at your computer
