SPANÍSH-SOVIET TALK REPORTED BY PAPER
MADRID Jan 10 (AP) A Spanish newspaper said today that Foreign Minister Gregorio López Bravo met with a Soviet official in Moscow in December, the first meeting of high Spanish and Soviet officials since the Spanish civil War.
The Foreign Ministry declired to comment on the report in the evening newspaper Pueblo. In Moscow, a Foreign Ministry spokesman saíd he knew nothing about such a meeting.
The Madrid newspaper said Mr. Lépez Bravo met Des. 26 with A. G. Kovalev chief of the West European department in the Sc™t-"F3Ttíga Miriistr/. who wanrtly welcorced him ai the Moscow airport. The paper did not say who arranged the raeeting.
TJie paper said the Foreign Minister had made an uh-scheduled stop in Moscow on ris way to attend the inaugura] of Presjdent Ferdínand E, Marcos of thfi Philippines.
Spain and the Soviet Union have had no diplomatic rela-íicns since Generalissimo Francisco Franco won the Spanish civil war.
