Bio
Alejandro Guerrero is Ph.D. candidate at the Juan March Institute and Autonomous University of Madrid. He is also a 2-years visiting scholar at Yale University.
He is a Public Sector Officer at the World Bank. He joined the institution as a researcher in 2007, after some training at the Inter American Development Bank, both in Washington DC.
He obtained the 'Master of Arts in Social Sciences' by the Juan March Institute in 2004. He previously earned a Masters Degree in 'Economic Development' in 2002, at the Complutense University of Madrid and, during a semester, he was research assistant in the Institute for International Studies, working on a comparative project about the aid policies across Europe.
He earned a B.A. in Political Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2001, specializing in the interactions between economics and politics, spending a semester coordinanting a project on State reform in Guatemala, under the supervision of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His research and training has been sponsored by the La Caixa Fellowships Program (2006-2008), the Fundación Juan March (2002-2006) and the Ministry of Foreign Affaires (2000).
He is a member of the American Political Science Association and the New York Academy of Science.
