
FRANCESC AMAT MALTAS

Francesc Amat is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at Nuffield College (University of Oxford) and the Juan March Institute in Madrid. Prior to that he completed an MSc in Public Economics at the London School of Economics and an MPhil in Social Sciences at the Juan March Institute.
Francesc is currently working on the effects of second dimensions of political competition (ethnicity, religiosity and regional cleavages) on redistributive outcomes. He is also interested in the political determinants of decentralization and inter-regional redistribution.
