The CEACS library, established in 1987, is devoted to the search for and acquisition of the resources necessary to ensure that each member of the Center may successfully complete their studies, research or publications.

The Online Catalogue offers approximately 60,000 volumes in the fields of Political Science, Sociology and Economics, available in print and electronic format.

The collection of Journals and periodical publications contains more than 1,200 titles, 500 of which are available in electronic format.

The library also contains Reference Bibliographic Databases, several  full text (JSTOR, ERIC, Econ-Lit, Political Science Sage full text, World Wide Political Science Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, Social Services Abstracts, and ISOC) and has access to the Social Sciences Citations Index and Journal Citations Reports (Web of Knowledge), as well as Keesing's Contemporary World Events.

The CEACS Data Library provides support for accessing and managing data for members of CEACS. The data collection includes surveys and statistical data from the CIS, INE, the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), the UK Data Archive, IMF, the OECD, the World Bank amongst others. In addition to this, researchers in CEACS have access to support to manage and share their datasets according to international standards.

The Online Reference Service is available to CEACS members only. It provides access to the online resources of the Center and serves as a channel of communication between the Library and the Center’s researchers by means of news and acquisitions bulletins, course programs, recommended reading lists and any other information that serves to strengthen this communication link.
