Carmen Iglesias, Professor of the History of Ideas at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in Madrid, a fellow of the Real Academia de la Historia and the Real Academia Española, and Premio Nacional de Historia de España in 2000, presents her intellectual autobiography in conversation with the teacher and journalist Manuel Ventero. The historian, a specialist in eighteenth-century Europe, will talk about her career as a researcher, including her publications on Rousseau, Montesquieu, Comte, the source of nationalist sentiments and the North-American Enlightenment.
