Naná URL:

Naná (1926), by Jean Renoir. 140 minutes
Presentation: Miguel Marías

In Naná (1926), Jean Renoir showed great talent in adapting Zola’s novel of the same name, which told the story of a prostitute (Catherine Hessling, the director’s wife) during the Second Empire, using sets inspired by the paintings of Auguste Renoir (the director’s father) and Édouard Manet, and featuring a splendid and frenetic can-can scene.
