The Madrid-born mezzo-soprano Teresa Berganza, internationally renowned for her performances at the most prominent opera houses in the world, will visit the Fundación to talk about her life and artistic career with the journalist Antonio San José. The winner of the Premio Príncipe de Asturias de las Artes and Premio Nacional de Música, and the first woman appointed a member of the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, she is usually related with operas by Mozart, Rossini and Bizet. She was also a tenured lecturer in singing at the School bearing her name.
During the course of the interview, San José will ask his guest to come up with three suggestions that, in her opinion, may help to improve society. The conversation will be accompanied by the projection of images relating to the singer’s career.
