Luis Vives, Saavedra Fajardo, Feijoo, Jovellanos,  Pardo Bazán, Ramón y Cajal and Ortega y Gasset, seven spaniards who were prominent in their fields -essay, critic, literature, science, philosophy-, seven names whose life, work and thoughts can be seen as a sequence of Spain's own history. With this idea, the Fundación Juan March offers in March a series of conferences directed by Juan Pablo Fusi, where apart from Fusi himself, Ricardo García Cárcel, Jon Juaristi, Fernando Bouza, Guadalupe Gómez-Ferrer, Carlos Martínez Shaw, Alberto Ferrús, and Thomas Mermall, will participate.
