This series of conferences will be devoted to calibrating the importance of Manuel Azaña (1880-1940) in the Spanish letters and policy. In two sessions, including a round table with Santos Juliá, José María Ridao and José Carlos Mainer, and a conference by the first contributor, we will evaluate the contribution of the president of the II Spanish Republic (1936-1939), one of the most important politicians and speakers of Spanish policy in the 20th century, as well as a featured writer, awarded with the Premio Nacional de Literatura in 1926.
