A Fool There Was (1915, USA) by Frank Powell, with Theda Bara and Edward José (67')
Presentation: Sonia García López

Inspired by a poem by Rudyard Kipling, it tells of how a married lawyer is sent to a diplomatic mission in Europe and meets a seductive woman on the ocean liner. The female star Theda Bara is considered the first vamp in film history. For its publicity release, the legend that the actress had been born in the Sahara, fruit of the love between a French legionnaire and a Bedouin, was created.

On Saturday, the video of the presentation recorded the day before will be shown.
