Go West (1926) by Buster Keaton (69’)
Presentation: David Trueba

Directed and performed by Buster Keaton. Following his mother’s advice, Buster Keaton heads West, firstly in an eventful train trip and later converted into a cowboy, leading a herd of cows through the streets of the city of Los Angeles with his habitual impassivity. His humour, combined with a certain surrealist poetry, inspired a poem by Rafael Alberti titled Buster Keaton busca por el bosque a su novia, que es una verdadera vaca.

On Saturday, the video of the presentation recorded the day before will be shown.
