It (1927) by Clarence Badger (70’)
Presentation: Manuel Rodríguez Rivero
A film by Clarence Badger, starring Clara Bow and Antonio Moreno. A typical romantic and frivolous comedy from the sparkling "Roaring Twenties" (a synonym of "sensual charm" at the time), in which an attractive underwear sales assistant in a warehouse falls in love with the rich owner of the shop in which she works and is involved in a love affair of intrigue, capped off with a happy ending on a cruise with the jet set on a yacht. The film, in which the redheaded actress Clara Bow represented the epitome of a dynamic, attractive and uninhibited flapper during the so-called "Roaring Twenties" or the Jazz Age, was a huge commercial success.
On Saturday, the video of the presentation recorded the day before will be shown.
