The Centre for International Meetings on Biology was established in 1992. Until the end of May 2005, 205 meetings were organised and 3,841 speakers were invited. Of these, 549 were Spanish and 3,292 of other nationalities. The total number of participants was 5,987; of these, 2,995 were Spanish and 2,992 of other nationalities.
177 booklets have been published, with abstracts of the scientific presentations discussed in these meetings, as well as the annual reports corresponding to the years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000,2001 2002 and 2003.
