To celebrate the cycle of concerts on Cortazar' s Jazz: On the 50th Anniversary of "Rayuela" , the Spanish Library of Contemporary Music and Theatre at the Fundación Juan March has produced this guide jazz compilation on the work of Julio Cortázar. From the writer's works, his interviews, his articles or correspondence, multiple fragments were selected in which jazz, either by direct mention of his terminology, relationship or appointment record or mention of jazz musicians, appears as the main reason. The content has been organized thematically to show, the references in his work on, for example, Charlie Parker, free jazz, his favorite discography, certain musicians ( as those cited in "Rayuela"), the memory of his first encounter with jazz, his views on historiography or the relationship of jazz with his writing.

You can also follow along this itinerary selection listener Cortázar himself, his habits, his opinions about the musicians or their attachment to the disks. (Content only in Spanish version)
