Image of the Lecture
A review of the history of Jazz, from its origins in the African and European music until the last quarter of the 20th century, through its maximum figures: Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Charlie Parker and Wynton Marsalis. We will not lack a reflexion about the relationship between literature and jazz from the hand of an exceptional guest: the writer Julio Cortazar. Also the New Zealand professor and composer Christopher Small will participate in the series, together with the writer and literary critic José María Guelbenzu, and two prominent critics specialized in the genre: José María García Martínez and Fernando Ortiz de Urbina.
