This cycle looks at how the novel came into being in the refined and courtly atmosphere of Europe in the early Middle Ages, reworking ancient legends of the classic world and re-writing traditional Celtic myths and fantasy tales, replete with unforgettable characters such as Arthur, Lancelot, Tristan and Isolde.
