Presentation: Manuel Hidalgo

Based on a novel by Sinclair Lewis. A provincial bachelor marries an attractive and flirtatious manicurist from the city. The actress Clara Bow, the archetypal flapper, achieved her first major success with this performance; only a year later she would play the “It girl”, as she would subsequently be known, after the film It (1927), directed by Clarence Badger, which featured in the previous Silent Film cycle at the Fundación Juan March, devoted to comedy.

On Saturday, the video of the presentation recorded the day before will be shown.
