This series of seven lectures, coordinated by the Professor of Ancient History Adolfo Domínguez Monedero, deals with a series of Ancient cultures that reached the status of “empires”, analysing some of the figures that were responsible for their creation or for taking them to their peaks.
Ramesses II, Ashurbanipal, Darius I, Philip II of Macedon, Hannibal, Augustus and Zenobia feature in each of the lectures in the series, discussed by specialists in ancient history and archaeology through a chronological and geographical journey.
