Works by G. B. Pergolesi, J. Nebra, C. Avison and G. F. Händel

18th-century operas narrate stories about love temptations and envies of power. From Naples to London and through Madrid, composers including Pergolesi, Handel and Nebra described the emotions associated with both sin and redemption in their music.
