Luis Oro in conversation with Íñigo Alfonso

In this session of Memories of the Fundación, the journalist Íñigo Alfonso converses with the prominent Aragonese scientist Luis Oro about his prolific career, marked by excellence. His professional life reflects the evolution of science in Spain, from the early 1970s when he completed postdoctoral studies abroad, to his role in the elaboration of the Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica in the mid 1980s and the creation and running of various pioneering research institutes. His dedication to chemistry has always been tied to his other great passion: the mountains and skiing. He defends the importance of chemistry in our lives and points out the excellent scientific level of this discipline in Spain.
