Opera is considered the most complete expression in Western history for its capacity to integrate different art forms: music, poetry, scenography and design are combined to create a unique spectacle. This educational concert, and the teaching guide available on the Foundation’s webpage, provide a way of accessing and understanding some of the characteristics of this genre using excerpts from well-known operas with a common element: humour.
