Listening with the Eyes: Sound Art in Spain. 1961–2016

The exhibit Listening with the Eyes: Sound Art in Spain. 1961–2016, with José Iges and José Luis Maire as guest curators and with the collaboration of many other artists and experts, aims to show the origins, the diversity of trajectories and the vitality of sound art made in our country from 1961 to the present day. Through the breadth and variety of the more than 400 works selected and extensive documentary material, the exhibition aims to make visible (and above all audible) the sound organized with artistic criteria in our country, even in times (the 60s and 70s) when the very term "sound art" had not yet been enunciated as such.
