Conversation with Victoria Prego

Victoria Prego in conversation with Antonio San José

A print, radio and television journalist, Victoria Prego specialised in research into the Spanish Transition towards Democracy, “the most honourable period in Spain’s contemporary history”, as she declared during her conversation with Antonio San José. Recalling her early days in television and radio, she acknowledges that her father was her reference in the profession and points out she still has the curiosity and interest of a good journalist. In her distinguished career she has interviewed all of the presidents of the Spanish democratic period, about whom she recounts personal anecdotes and evaluates their governments. To improve society, she prescribes proper education.
