Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956)

The exhibition Lyonel Feininger (1871–1956) is a sort of "concentrated retrospective" of the artist's work. The exhibition brings together almost four hundred works from various public and private collections in Europe and the United States, through which a tour of his work is proposed, articulated around the different techniques in which the artist worked (drawing, graphic work, painting, photography and toy-making) and the main themes of his production: caricature and satirical drawings; the emblematic places that inspired him such as Paris, Deep, Halle, Gelmeroda or Manhattan; his fixation on bridges, towers, seascapes and urban life.
