SPRING 2017. Upcoming lectures

A journey through Ancient Ceramics from Three Continents inaugurates the Lectures program at the Fundación Juan March, which will run from mid April to the end of May 2017. The series Cave Art will provide a framework for an approach to its significance with an emphasis on its projection in modern art and Altamira. In the field of literature, we have an analysis of the life and work of Jane Austen. A theatrical session will also be devoted to the actor and playwright Álvaro Tato. Another Philosophy Seminar will take place, run by Marina Garcés, who will reflect on the ever-changing present of the humanities. The scientist Carlos López-Otín will be our guest in Conversations at the Foundation and the current affairs debates in The Burning Issue will address topical issues such as Brexit and the leadership of China.
