Músic in the Night: Oniric Images

Atlantis Piano Duo: Sophia Hase and Eduardo Ponce

Works by M. Ravel, M. de Elías, F. van Rossum and S. Rachmaninoff

The liberation of the unconscious caused by sleep leads to endless sensorial possibilities and unexpected images. Maurice Ravel’s “Prélude a la nuit” from the Rapsodie espagnole opens the door to a night in which the purifying effect of sleep is reflected in the expressive textures of the works of Manuel de Elías and Frederik van Rossum to end recalling, with Rachmaninoff, the amorous meeting that took place in the shadows.
