Rosa María Calaf in conversation with Antonio San José

"The idea of having to be permanently saying something is blurring the essence of the need for rigour in information", with this statement the journalist Rosa María Calaf reflects, at the beginning of this session, on the current state of her profession. In the journey she makes through her professional trajectory, she refers to her career as a pioneer in journalism and as a correspondent for TVE, as well as her participation in the founding of TV3. "Sometimes it is as difficult to make information where there is an excess as where there is a scarcity of information," she says in relation to her experiences as a news correspondent in New York, Canada and Moscow.
