Manuel Vicent in conversation with Antonio San José

Conversations at the Fundación

The Valencian writer Manuel Vicent (Villavieja, Castellón, 1936) takes a retrospective look at his career in conversation with Antonio San José. The protagonist recalls some episodes of childhood and youth on the Mediterranean coast, as well as his arrival in Madrid on October 12. Vicent reviews the publication of some of his books remembering, at the same time, the political context that would serve as a framework for some vital moments of special relevance, like his time in the editorial staff of the newspaper Madrid or Hermano Lobo, and his entry in El País, where he began as a parliamentary chronicler and continues with his weekly column.
