The Planets Op. 32 (original version for two pianos), by Gustav Holst (1874-1934)
Astrological tradition holds that cosmic events have their correspondence with terrestrial events. Interested in these beliefs, the English composer Gustav Holst composed the suite The Planets Op. 32 in 1932, dedicating each movement to a planet in the solar system. On this occasion, the work is performed in its original version for two pianos and is accompanied by projections provided by the Communication and Scientific Culture Unit (UC3) of the Canary Islands Astrophysics Institute.
