Rinaldo Alessandrini: Dérraisonnable beauté

Rinaldo Alessandrini, harpsichord

Déraisonnable beauté, a chaconne by Rinaldo Alessandrini

The art of improvisation so typical of harpsichordists, as continuo players, is surely at the base of this composition by Rinaldo Alessandrini himself presented as a bonus in his concert on June 14th 2017. The Italian musician builds an original work that mixes modern and ancient harmonies scented in the style of the French Baroque. Its very title recalls the movements of Couperin: Déraisonnable beauté [Irrational Beauty].
