The quality of Spain’s democracy

The proper functioning of the electoral process, the respect for freedoms and rights, the separation of powers, the state of the press or political parties are several of the constituent elements of liberal democracies. In this session, Ignacio Molina, professor of political science and researcher at the Real Instituto Elcano, and Juan Claudio de Ramón, diplomat and writer, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of democracy in Spain and answer several of these questions: how is democratic quality measured, what aspects are most valued according to democratic indicators with respect to Spain, or what are the reasons for citizens' dissatisfaction with Spanish democracy?
