Writer Lorenzo Silva (Madrid, 1966), who claims to have been trained as an accounting auditor and tax and legal advisor before devoting himself exclusively to writing, details the planning and writing of his novels. Silva declares his satisfaction for having promoted the Getafe Negro festival -of which he has been the curator since 2008-, reflects on the genre of crime novels and reveals the source and inspiration of his detective series starring the civil guards Bevilacqua and Chamorro, among others.
