José María Pérez “Peridis” in conversation with Antonio San José

Jose María Pérez “Peridis”, accompanied by Antonio San José, will take a humorous look back over his career and draw some of the most famous characters from his cartoons published daily in the newspaper El País, from the Spanish Transition to the present day, live on stage. “Peridis” will recall his childhood in Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia) in order to trace the origins of his deep admiration for Romanic art and his vocation as an architect-restorer. He will also present his ongoing work as an active promoter of employment at the helm of the Fundación Santa María la Real, where he currently fosters a program of career launchers and a solidarity campaign for the unemployed.
