Presentation of Flesh and the Devil (1927)

Román Gubern

Clarence Brown's Flesh and the Devil was the American film by Greta Garbo that made her "Divine". She played a femme fatale, a devastating vampire capable of ruining male loyalties, but her eroticism was very stylized. She acted along John Gilbert with whom she reinvented the kissing technique in front of the camera.
