Presentation of Nosferatu (1922)

Manuel Rodríguez Rivero

Manuel Rodríguez Rivero presents, within the cycle "Literary adaptations", the silent film Nosferatu (1922), by German F.W. Murnau. This film was an unconfessed adaptation of the novel Dracula (1897), by Bram Stoker, who by changing the title tried to avoid paying the royalties. Unfaithful to the plot but faithful to its distressing atmosphere, it offered a full-blown demonic and perverse image of the vampire that has become emblematic.
