On Domestic Life. 17th-Century Flemish and Dutch Still Lifes

From 8 February to 3 March 2013 the Fundación Juan March presents an exhibition featuring eleven 17th-century Dutch and Flemish still-lifes by Osias Beert, Clara Peeters, Floris van Dijck, Willem Heda, Pieter Claesz y Jan Davidsz de Heem. These were the most important artists to make the so-called still-life one of the most characteristic genres within northern European painting.
