2013-2014 SEASON. Programming of concerts
The Fundación Juan March has programmed 146 concerts between the months of October and May, structured into about 20 series based on very different themes. Among the main figures are the composers Giuseppe Verdi, Gaetano Brunetti, John Adams and Roberto Gerhard, the writers Julio Cortázar and E.T.A. Hoffmann, the philosopher Ortega y Gasset and the painter Plaul Klee. Some of these series consist of rarely heard repertories, such as chamber arrangements of the Beethoven symphonies or music for the viola da gamba, while others focus on the sound recording as a work of art; a diversity of styles, ideas and composers, encouraging audiences to gain a new perspective on music.
