The exceptional pianist Ferenc Rados inaugurated the 2014-15 music season at the Fundación Juan March with a recital in which he performed two of Franz Schubert’s Impromptus Op. 90, among others works. The wistful (almost funereal) nature of the “Impromptu No. 1” gives way to the harmonic boldness of the “Impromptu No. 4”, combining equal doses of anxiety and bucolicism.
