Shlomo Ben Ami and education as an investment

Shlomo Ben Ami in conversation with Antonio San José

The historian, diplomatic and Vice-President of the Toledo International Center for Peace, Shlomo Ben Ami analyses the present socio-political situation and points out that Spain is probably the most pacifist country in Europe; he clarifies that the first requisite for making peace is respect for what others represent. In order to the improve society, he stresses the importance of beginning the educational process as soon as possible (from age three) to promote egalitarian thinking, especially in very disparate societies. In the economic sphere, he points out the need to think long term. In his opinion, reducing some taxes would mean increasing spending, creating employment and stimulating industry.
