Projection of classic films with soundtrack piano transcriptions
Classical music had accompanied film from its beginnings, yet it was not until the invention of the talkies that it stopped being mere sound in the background and took on its own dimension, becoming an integral part of movies. Pre-existing musics were then impregnated with connotations that came from the image and entered the collective imagination with new meanings, most of which were unknown to their composers.
