Since 1975, the Fundación Juan March has organised Educational Concerts for Young People, a programme whose main objective is to stimulate the musical and aesthetic experience of adolescents. During these decades, an estimate of 855.500 students have attended. These concerts evolved and were adapted to the needs of teachers and students. In the current period, they take place on Tuesday and around 5.500 secondary-education students attend each academic year. Presented by outstanding performers, soloists or chamber ensembles, these concerts are accompanied by talks given by specialists and occasionally use audio-visual images and musical examples to enrich their explanations of instruments, composers, periods. In the last two Saturday Concerts each year, we present these educational concerts open to the general audience.
