Telemann, el barroco del norte (I)
Zarabanda
This series presents a contrasting view to the generalised idea that Baroque music is an essentially Italian phenomenon. In Northern Europe, the prolific Georg Philipp Telemann, admired by his contemporaries, developed a very unique compositional style. This series will present a selection from his best chamber music focusing on four genres: the solo sonata, flute duet, trio sonata and the quartet.
