Utopias for Times of Crisis

This series took place onFrom to

In a new Philosophy Seminar, the historian, philosopher and theologian Juan José Tamayo-Acosta invites us to "cultivate utopia" in the current times of crisis, to reinstate it as the driving force of history, directing it towards a transformative praxis, under the guidance of reason and ethics. Tamayo-Acosta is presently director of the Chair of Theology and Religious Studies “Ignacio Ellacuría” at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, where he is also Professor of Contemporary History in the Humanities Department, Lecturer in the History of Christianity in the Chair of Three Religions at the Universidad de Valencia, and a guest lecturer at numerous Spanish, European and Latin-American universities.
