Josep Colom, Julio Martínez Calzón, Ignacio Bosque, Juan Rojo Alaminos and José Ramón Encinar

October-November 2016

10/24/2016 - 11/28/2016

The journalist Íñigo Alfonso continues his interviews of outstanding personalities that were recipients of scholarships or grants from the Fundación Juan March. The pianist Josep Colom refers to the sense of communication in solo concertos and chamber music, while the engineer Julio Martínez Calzón values his profession and defends the classicist tradition, and the linguist and academic Ignacio Bosque describes his discovery of the Spanish language as an object of study. For his part, the physicist Juan Rojo Alaminos recalls the changes in his perception of science based on his experience at the University of Cambridge, and the conductor and composer Juan Ramón Encinar concludes by reflecting on the relevance of the concert, among other testimonies.
