Andrés Ibáñez, presentador

Rusia y España, un amor de extremos

10/12/2018

Andrés Ibáñez introduces the first concert of the series Musical Cichés: Visions of Spain. For some unknown reason, Spaniards and Russians have felt a longstanding mutual attraction. This relationship has had great results in the realm of music: from Glinka to Shostakovich, numerous Russian composers have based their works on Spanish melodies and rhythms. In this presentation, Andrés Ibáñez takes us on a journey through this “love of extremes” between two territories situated at the two opposite ends of the European continent.
