C. Saint-Saëns: Piano Trio No. 2 in E-Minor Op.92


This trio by Camille Saint-Saëns, composed and premiered in 1892, is dedicated to one of his pupils, Anna Hoskier, who would later become Viscountess of Guitaut. Stylistically it is conservative, typical of a composer who remained loyal to the classical models of Mozart, Beethoven and Mendelssohn, which he had studied and performed so often.
