Ricardo García Cárcel in dialogue with Manuel Peña Díaz

"History offers me the possibility of approaching the past, with the dream of approaching the truth"

Ricardo García Cárcel (Casas de Eufemia, Valencia, 1948), Professor of Modern History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and winner of the Spanish National History Prize in 2012, reviews his academic career with historian Manuel Peña Díaz. Peña Díaz revisits several of his main research topics, such as the court of the Inquisition in Valencia and the Spanish Inquisition.
