Alfredo SanzolTheatre to shape life
The author and theatre director Alfredo Sanzol recalls his career, explaining the relationship between his life and work, which is manifest in the presence of an environment of actors, family and friends with whom he has conceived many of his productions and which has also served as constant inspiration. His play-writing, which draws on various influences such as Steven Berkoff and Monty Python, reflects the tension between the unconscious and the imagination on the one hand, and automatisms and conventions on the other, with the aim of humanising through humour and everyday occurrences.
"I have a very bad memory for facts, but a very good one for emotions" (dialogue with Marcos Ordóñez and dramatised reading)
